Changing a Customer

1. When you first enter the Customer option a Select An Option window will appear. To make changes to a Customer profile, use the FIND CUSTOMER option to find a customer using their customer ID code or select the customer from the list of customers displayed in the Select An Option window.

2. Once you have selected the customer profile you wish to modify, command options will appear; select Change.

3. Use the arrow keys, the Enter key, and the Next Page/Prior Page command options to navigate between fields and screens. See Customer for more information on Customer field definitions.

Note: If the bill-to address for a customer is changed, upon update a system message will appear: “Transfer all invoices to new bill-to ? No/Yes." Select yes to transfer all open and paid invoice history to the new bill-to ID. Select no to change the bill-to ID for all future transactions only.

Note: Some fields do not appear on the customer record screen. These fields may be accessed through Customer Quick Maintenance. The selection of some of these fields may cause additional fields to be displayed on the Customer screen.

4. When you are done press Enter or Page Down until command options reappear.

5. Select Update. Your changes are now saved.

Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.
